CANVAS blog 1


 


This project was made using Adobe Dreamweaver, I created this design by writing an html code. I enjoyed this project although it was intimidating at first but once I organized the code and figured out what I wanted to do it just entailed handwork for long hours because of the small details. Creating all of the details was actually fun and watching the results come together motivated me more to make it look good. I am happy with how this project turned out and how much my design resembles the original.

  I think the animation project challenged me the most throughout the semester. This project was time consuming  and tedious but also rewarding. I am especially proud of the body of my figure changing colors while doing cartwheels and how it turned out like I envisioned. I think the colors complement each other and are bright but not too flashy or busy. I had the idea to do cartwheels because of their visual appeal and also to dust off my very old cheerleading skills.

BW to color

 While doing the black and white to color project in Photoshop, I started becoming more comfortable with the platform. While colorizing a black and white photo of myself, I learned the ability and how to use many tools on Photoshop. Before taking this class, I have always done the same exercises in Photoshop, so I'm glad to learn more skills and am less intimidated by the platform.  original image:

 I am really excited for this class because I think I'm going to learn a lot and improve my editing skills. I am a junior at the University of Tampa studying communication. I have a couple ideas of what careers I am interested in but I am also open to many options. I often feel like I want to do too many different things that I can't fit into one lifetime. I have been interested in graphic design since I took photography and TV production in high school. An idea I have had since high school as well is making my own stickers and selling them so that is also why I take so many design courses in college. I also want to find my own style or aesthetic within design and I think this class will help a lot with that.
